Number of UFO(s), including the Color(s), Size(s) and Shape(s): (1) LARGE LOW craft in the NE sky. A row of 30-40 white lights. The way the craft tipped as it traveled defied all physics regarding aerodynamics. It appeared to be moving very slowly and I watched it for 30 seconds as its image slowly faded into the morning haze just before first light at approx 4:45 AM.

I saw a second craft. This one much higher directly above me. It was not illuminated like the first one, but this one seemed like a saucer type. It seemed to slip through a hole in the clear sky. As it entered, I watched it, literally disappear like a coin being inserted in a video game.

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: The first seemed quite close…. And it was very bright . Maybe a mile or 2. Hard to gauge, however I am certain there are reports coming in from interstate 95 northbound traffic just before 5 am.

The second, much higher in the sky, directly above me

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): seen in the ENE sky tipping and traveling East

The second one, seemed to “slip into the coin slot” in a north to east direction as well

Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): So very different and distinguishable from airplanes with their anticipated speed and consistent light setup and flashing. There were not even close to airplanes

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: The UFO was very high up & it was moving fairly fast across the sky.

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): NNW to SSE

Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): High flying jets seemingly fly at a slower rate than what we saw. Also, the ISS moves more slowly than this object did.

Further Description of Sighting: We were able to keep it in sight for about 30 seconds before it went out of sight.

Lisbon, Connecticut, USA; August, 1986

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): I was outside in the evening ran into the house to get my parents then when I went back out to look it was gone

Further Description of Sighting: I was coming home from a baseball game at age 14. Was dropped off by a friend, who also saw it, got out of the vehicle and looked up because I saw lights, but the lights were not spotlights so they didn’t light up the surroundings. No noise or wind, it was just hovering. I was scared so I ran into the house to get my parents but when we went back out to look it was gone.

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: Approx. 5-8 miles

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): Western sky toward the South-East

Further Description of Sighting: We first noticed 3 bright pinkish-red objects just above the western horizon, At first we all, approx. 20 people tailgating after baseball game, thought it was some remnant lighting from fireworks over the hill.

These lights continued to move however and did not lessen in brightness nor did they fall toward the ground which would be typical of a firework or flare.

The 3 lights moved toward the south-eastern sky flying silent and smoothly. One light suddenly veered in front of another and circled it. Soon after a 4th light came over the horizon and flew in the same path as the other 3.

Each light flew directly into a cloud pattern and disappeared. All 4 lights in the same cloud as if they had that as their target. Amazing! They were not a group of planes or natural phenom. They had a direct flight path and 1 light almost on cue circled another to prove it had some kind of controlled motion. Incredible really…

Message: Yep saw that one too. I was 5 years old, So did my Aunt Pat, she told me to close the window and start praying, neighbors and yes it was huge circular shape with quite a bit of height. UFO scale is tough to estimate could be a 1,500 – 2500 ft in height, disk diameter 3500 – 5000 ft. was so large it looked close to us but wasn’t, took up quite a bit of the sky, was lit up on underside, can’t recall color pinkish orange comes to mind but not sure, made very low hum noise (like electrical transformer hum), could feel a level of pressure on your body and face but not from wind (curious), very low to tree tops and yes very near Farmington Ave, East of Stafford Avenue, very close to Cook Street, saw it from 2nd floor bedroom window facing Northeast on Circle Street. It was amazing!

Message: 1967 Bristol CT. A bunch of kids playing in the yard about dusk when a huge circular UFO was above us. It. Was traveling along Farmington Avenue.. It was so low it seemed like hit would hit the third floor apartment buildings.

It was silver and was all lit up underneath. Pretty fasinating for me at nine years old. None of us ever talked about it until recent years.
