Name: Jonathan
Date of Sighting: October 3rd, estimated time 3AM-3:20AM, had been reoccurring for about two weeks over several nights observation
Location of Sighting: Myself: Southeast Tinton Falls, NJ, 07712 ___ Object: Southeast of my location. possibly off of the coastline.
Shape(s) of UFO(s): Shape could not be told; it appeared as a flickering and side strafing “star” with red and blue side lights
Size(s) of UFO(s): Undetermined but appeared star size under total cloud cover last night. Stars were not visible.
Color(s) of UFO(s): white light with red and blue lights. intermittent flashes
Number of UFO(s): one(?)
Distance of UFO(s) in sky: below the cloud cover but high altitude
Direction of Travel for UFO(s): North and then upward
Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): McGuire AFB, clear contrast with lack of star visibility. Cloud cover seemed to pulse with the lights. Staring led to an odd connected sensation.
Further Description of Sighting: I had been wondering for some time about this “flickering star” with the red and blue light spectrum that I was seeing night to night. Last night no stars were visible due to cloud cover. This object was visible however, and upon staring at it I could see the colors were emitted light and that the object was moving as if it were a high altitude helicopter or VTOL, etc.
However the reoccurring location seems impractical for gov’t testing from McGuire AFB. Observational most likely. Upon staring I felt a sensation and noticed a significant magnitude in the light of the night sky. No words received, some were projected low but in the direction in question. I went inside to get my brother to show him and by the time we were back out (estimate 3 minutes) it had moved and appeared to have left.
We walked out to the street and I noticed it had appeared to have moved north and was ascending into the clouds and eventually stratosphere most likely. its path was one where from my direction it could appear as a star with flickering red white and blue light spectrum had become exposed by the cloud cover and was simply being covered over again; but it matched the lights that I had seen to the southeast. Also my brother verified the lighting structure. The isolation, relocation, and ascent are what raise questions about this occurrence.
