Number of UFO(s), including the Color(s), Size(s) and Shape(s): 1 as a string of lights in a perfectly straight line considerably longer than an airplane

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: Distance difficult to ascertain. However from our vantage point it appeared to be over or jus the east side of the Olympic mountains.

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): It was ascending from behind the tree line at a very steep angle. Much steeper than any plane. I’d say, if 0 degrees is parallel to the ground, this was at 80 degrees and was slipping sideways as it ascended and much faster than an airliner.

Color(s), Size(s) & Shape(s) of UFO(s): Triangle, lots of white lights, way too many lights to be a plane. It was out over the cornfield, and wasn’t moving for several minutes, and no making any sound. It finally began flying north, still silently. It made a hard 90 degree turn and flew east. After it flew over the neighbor’s house, there was finally a little engine noise, though it seemed way too quiet for how close the craft appeared to be.

Number of, Distance Away & Direction of Travel for UFO(s): 1, fairly close and bigger than a plane.
Hovered for several minutes, then went briefly north before making a hard 90 degree turn and flying east.

Further Description of Sighting: I walked outside of a friends house to smoke a cigarette. I was looking up at the stars, thinking how clear it was and how bright the stars were. As I looked, a very low cloud went by with multi colored lights flashing behind it.

What’s weird is that as the thing was going across the sky, it was like it wouldn’t compute in my head. It wasn’t until it was long gone that I realized what I had seen. I’ve only told a few close friends and this is the only time I’ll report it.
